AT&D #1. Personal Narratives

What is the point of writing personal narratives including essays about our personal experience(s)? What do we, as writers, get out of it?

Writing personal narratives allow the writer to open up and share their life experiences, their various ups and downs, and their opinions. Therefore, as readers take in this information, they too could relate and learn about themselves, with them making the best of their choices and decisions.

Writing personal narratives benefits both the writer and the reader but with writers, they can turn their past struggles and successes into something that makes the writer a role model.
